I joined DeviantART in December of 2003, my 8th grade year of school. It’s now December of 2007 and I’m more than half-way through with my senior year of high school. I live for art. It’s why I joined DA. I planned on putting loads of my artwork on here and it’d be a blast. Well as it turned out I rarely ever posted works. Truth is, I don’t really have anything I’m truly proud of. I was cleaning out my gallery and I was appalled at many of the things I had posted as ‘artwork.’ I’ll be starting college in less than a year. And if I have any hopes of pursing a career in art, it’s high time I get serious with my artwork and quit lollygagging around. This is why I’m leaving. I need to focus more on myself and who I am as a person and who it is I want to be as an artist. Will I ever come back? Perhaps. Do I have any idea when that will be? None at all. And I’m not worried about it. So to those of you who faved, commented, watched, or just looked at my ‘artwork,’ I thank you. And to everyone, goodbye.
